What does the Frigidaire warranty cover on Oahu?
One year of parts and labor on defects, paid by Electrolux, according to the Frigidaire use and care guides. The U.S. warrantor named there is Electrolux Major Appliances North America, at 10200 David Taylor Drive in Charlotte, North Carolina. Food loss, rust, as-is purchases and products moved outside the USA or Canada are left out. Rust is the one that bites near the ocean on Oahu, where salt air reaches anything near an open window.
Why a Frigidaire oven can turn itself off
Often it is doing what it was set to do. A Gallery wall oven can run a 12-hour energy-saving shutoff, so a long slow cook that ends early may be a setting, not a fault, and the cleaning modes cause the other surprise. Bake burner slow
A gas range that lights late on bake may sit in the 2026 serial range. Read the drawer nameplate first.
Element turns on alone
On a smooth-top with knobs at the back, sold 2001 to 2009, this matches the reannounced recall.
Oven runs cool
The same range draws 9.5 kW at 208 volts instead of 13.0 kW at 240, so expect slower heating.
Dishwasher stays wet
