Samsung dishwasher repair
On a Samsung WaterWall dishwasher, 7E or 7C means the reflector vane is stuck on its rail. A pot handle, a ladle or packing tape left from delivery is the usual cause, so look before you book.

Six Samsung dishwasher codes and what they point to
Samsung asks owners not to reset or clear a dishwasher code until the cause is dealt with, because the fault stays and the code comes back. Read the code, note it, then work through the step below.
7E or 7C
WaterWall vane cannot travel. Clear the rail, check the logo faces forward and up, then cut the breaker for two minutes.
1E or IE
A clogged fine filter on WaterWall models. On rotary spray-arm models the same code is a heater running too hot.
3E, hot supply
Incoming water is too hot. Samsung's ceiling for the supply is 176°F, so the water heater setting comes first.
4C or 4E
Water is not arriving at the pressure or temperature the machine needs. Valve, supply line and pressure, in that order.
LC or LE
The leak sensor found moisture. The machine powers itself on and keeps pumping out until the water is gone.
PC, PE, bE, 6E
Zone Wash and half load faults, or a button the panel reads as stuck. Touch every key, restart, then call.

What Samsung asks of the water line under the sink
Samsung wants the hot supply between 120 and 149°F and pressure between 20 and 120 psi. Under 20 psi, it says, the fill valve can fail and not close. The hookup needs a 90-degree elbow, 1/2-inch NPT on one end and a 3/8-inch compression fitting on the other, and neither comes in the box. Spotty glasses here are often minerals: USGS found Hawaii public supplies generally under 120 mg/L hardness in its older survey. Samsung also says to shut the valve when the dishwasher sits idle a week or longer, handy for a condo left empty.
