Whose name is on a Dacor warranty now?
Samsung Electronics America, based in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey, is the US warrantor printed in Dacor's current dishwasher manual. Canadian buyers deal with Samsung Electronics Canada instead. The Dacor name, styling and model numbers carry on. We do not guess at the year the brand changed hands, because Dacor's own pages do not give it. For a repair, what matters is simpler: which manual fits the unit, and which warranty term the purchase date falls under.

Does a vacation rental change Dacor coverage?
It can. Dacor's oven manual says products in non-residential use carry one year of parts coverage only, and it names bed and breakfasts, spas, fire stations and religious organizations as examples. Plenty of Oahu kitchens are rented out by the night. If that describes yours, plan on the shorter term. The same rule covers as-is and older display units. Oahu sits inside the 50 states, so ordinary home use gets the full published terms.
