Bosch oven and range repair
Bosch says an E11 on its wall ovens can come from condensation on the touch keys. Wipe the panel dry, switch the fuse off for 10 seconds and back on. If E11 returns, the keypad or board needs testing.

Bosch range codes: fault or reset?
| Code | What Bosch says it means | First move |
|---|---|---|
| e005 | The user interface and the power board are not communicating | Breaker off five minutes, then back on |
| e011 | Touch sensor failure on the oven panel | Clean and dry the panel, then the breaker reset |
| e101 | The temperature sensor is malfunctioning | Check that the power cord wire colors match, then reset |
| e126 | Door lock fault | Cancel Self Clean, wait for the unlock, start again |
| e302 / E302 | Power board overheated / control panel overheated | Let it cool; for E302 check room heat and pot position |
| ERR/toP | A cooktop zone was switched on during Self Clean | Turn the zone off and restart Self Clean |
Does a second Bosch offset add to the first?
No, each new offset replaces the old one. If you set 5° and food still comes out pale, the next entry is 10°, not another 5°. Bosch allows plus or minus 35°F in 1° steps, typed as two digits, so 5° goes in as 05, and the oven has to be off while you set it. It also warns that home oven thermometers swing too much to judge the oven by. Check whether Auto Convection Conversion is on before you blame the thermostat: it lowers convection temperatures by 25°F on purpose.
Electric ovens, humid air and Bosch touch controls
In Hawaii, 85% of homes have an electric cooking appliance and only 11% a natural gas one, so most Bosch calls here are wall ovens and electric or induction ranges. Damp air matters to their glass touch panels: Bosch ties E11 to condensation on the keypad, and its oven warranty statement leaves out damage from excessive moisture, extended exposure to humidity and power surges. The cooling fan, which keeps running after switch-off until the oven cools, and a clear vent help the control area stay dry.
