Bertazzoni repair for fridges and ranges

Bertazzoni began in 1882 in Guastalla, near Parma, as a maker of precision scales. Francesco and Antonio Bertazzoni saw the wood-burning stoves heating trains from Austria and Germany and built one for the home. We repair the brand on Oahu.

Does Bertazzoni cover humidity damage?

No. The 2025 warranty statement excludes damage from outside forces, and it names excessive moisture and long exposure to humidity, along with power surges and lightning. On Oahu that line deserves attention. Windward lowland humidity runs roughly 70 to 80 percent, and most homes have no central AC to dry the air. EPA advises keeping indoor humidity below 60 percent; a dehumidifier or AC in the kitchen is the practical answer.

The company

Yes. Bertazzoni S.p.A. calls itself the oldest family-owned appliance maker in the world, now in its sixth generation with Paolo Bertazzoni as CEO. The site footer names Bilancia Holding S.p.A. of Guastalla as the coordinating parent.
The name arrived in 2005 with a new range line, and the company opened its own US operation in 2023.
They are Bertazzoni's three product groupings. Many models inside them also come in XE, XV and XT tiers, so a full model number matters when parts are looked up.
A brand Bertazzoni launched in 1923, along with the FBG mark for Fratelli Bertazzoni Guastalla. The first plant near Guastalla station had opened in 1909 on a 10,000 lira loan. Gas countertop units followed in 1953, gas stoves in 1955 and an oven in 1958, which is when the cooking line that leads to today's ranges took shape.
On REF24 and REF31 models, hold Holiday and Alarm together for 3 seconds.

Refrigerators

Its button is backlit when it is on. The ice mold also has to be locked level, so if the light is on and nothing drops, check the mold before calling.
Switch between freezer, fresco and refrigerator settings in the 3.7 cu ft bottom drawer.
No. Ice maker parts, the water dispenser and the filter stay at 2 years even after registration. The same goes for handles, hinges and frost caused by a damaged gasket or door. Registration extends workmanship coverage on the rest of the product, and the sealed cooling circuit runs 5 years from installation on its own terms. Keep the install paperwork, since the clock starts there.
Bertazzoni's US FAQ names Encompass as the distributor for its replacement parts.
